Commercial Drone Pilot Certification Prep
Fly a drone legally for commercial purposes. Get paid for what you know. Course is designed to prepare the participants for the FAA Knowledge Exam (FAA Part 107) for Remote Pilot Certification to fly UAVs commercially. Course content includes but is not limited to: FAA regulations, radio communication, national air space, aviation weather, UAV performance. Training will be a combination of classroom lecture and hands-on drone flying. Must be 16 or older to attend.

New Welding Art 101
Learn the basics of joining metal pieces through MIG welding. This class you will make a flower yard art and learn the basic weld. Participants must wear cotton long sleeve clothes, and leather closed toe shoe. Those with medium to long hair must tie back. Safety Glasses, Welding gloves, jackets and helmets would be provided but encouraged to bring your own.

Introduction to Digital Photography
This is a beginning level class covering many of the features and settings in today's digital cameras, as well as what can be done with the pictures you take. You will learn the basics of photography such as exposure and composition with a goal of improving your picture taking skills. We will cover the use of natural lighting, but we will not be covering the use of flash in this class. Students need a camera, the manual for that camera, access to a computer, and email capability. Students will be expected to spend 2-3 hours per week at home working on some of the topics covered in class. Participants should have a basic understanding of computer operations, especially as it relates to creating, attaching and saving files. This class is part of the Photography Certificate.
